About Life Coaching

Life Coaching is a holistic and practical way to work through challenges, identify and meet your life goals and to achieve fulfilment and happiness in different areas of your life. Your coach will accompany you on this journey, gently guiding you through a deeper investigation of yourself. At the end of every session you will come away with immediate, concrete steps for the week ahead, for which your coach provides accountability. Each step happens at your own pace, always working in a way that feels comfortable for you.

Life Coaching is different to psychotherapy or counselling in that it is present and future focused and does not spend too much time dealing with the past. Life Coaching is also not advice: rather, through the powerful coaching process, answers will come to you from deep within
yourself. Life Coaching is a great place to start if you are not sure where to start! This is because it is practical and focuses on taking the next step, whatever that may be. If you seek clarity, feel stuck, need change, have unfulfilled dreams, or if you simply need to understand yourself better, Life Coaching is a great solution-focused way of finding what you seek.

Róisín Dexter, who is a certified Life Coach (RMT), is one of our skilled and experienced resident Life Coaches at the Centre.  Roisin will meet you where you’re at and accompany you to discover your next exciting steps.

Content of a session

The session can be done in person, through the phone or via videocall. It lasts 50-60 min and it is based on a deep and intense dialogue. The clients explain their issues or goals and the therapist questions and investigates them bringing them to a deeper level of awareness about their skill related to the goal/issue.
