About Róisín Dexter

I am a life coach (RMT), parent coach and music and wellness facilitator. I hold a BA in Science, a diploma in Music Performance and I am a Primary Teacher with ten years experience. I am a certified Forest School practitioner and have trained extensively in special educational needs, challenging behaviour and therapeutic methods in the Arts and in nature. I also have a certificate in Permaculture Design and am trained in Non-Violent Communication and Active Hope (group empowerment work in the face of ecological crises).

Part of being human is to sometimes feel totally stuck in life. I work with people when they feel stuck, to help them identify their gut feelings and to find creative solutions of which I believe there are no limits. I also work with parents when they need support through difficult times, whether it be family conflict, separation, challenging behaviours or managing family life. I use a blended approach of deep listening, questioning, movement work and guided meditation to help unstick you, gain clarity and connect to your gut. I also draw on the natural world for new (or ancient) ways of looking at things, using the 12 principles of permaculture as a guide which are, in essence, laws of nature.

Throughout my career I have helped hundreds of people dig deeper into their own unique creativity to find their next steps. And I am so grateful to the amazing coaches in my own life whom I have called on many times:) As well as coaching, I work as a Creative Associate for the Arts Council, helping school communities become more creative. I live in Dublin with my husband and three children, and love to play music and be in nature with my family.

Integrated Energy Therapy (IET)

IET healing is a gentle hands-on non-invasive treatment which "gets the issues out of tissues". It helps clear away the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy blockages while you relax in a warm comfortable setting. Nine healing Angels are invited to assist in removing the blockages by working with the healer. There are nine specific points in the body called cellular memory areas where we suppress trauma and emotions. During an IET energy healing session, the blocked emotions and negative energy is removed at the cellular level and replaced with life force energy guided by the source or our higher self.
