WHY DO HERBAL MEDICINE

About Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine takes a holistic approach, supporting the whole person rather than just the symptoms. Treatments are tailored to each individual, using herbal formulas that help nourish and restore the body’s natural functions. Herbs support many aspects of health and can be used alongside conventional care. Clients who are taking prescribed medication are monitored carefully, and any decision to reduce or discontinue medication is made by the client together with their doctor.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Content of a session

with Christine McQuillan

A full inventory of medical history, current symptoms, diet, sleep, other treatments passed and present will be taken at first consultation. These will be monitored at all follow up visits. An iridology record is kept at each session by photographing and analysing the iris. A month long herbal formula will be dispensed which is tailored to each client’s individual needs. At the end of this period a follow up appointment is advised and treatments will be altered according to how each person responds to the herbs. Herbs work well when taken over a 3-6 month period for chronic, long-term conditions but for acute illnesses it may only take 1-2 weeks of treatment to see an improvement. This is not a shop and we do not sell ‘over the counter’ herbs.

With Lola Lara

Your consultation begins with a conscious intention to support your wellbeing. You will be welcomed into a calm and private space for a one-hour herbal holistic consultation. Together, we’ll explore your health through a detailed discussion of symptoms, medical history, diet and lifestyle. An Iridology assessment, using a photograph of your eyes, provides further insights into your overall health. We will talk through contributing factors and root causes and you’ll receive tailored recommendations for diet, lifestyle and natural healing. Afterward, I prepare a personalised herbal prescription to suit your constitution—crafted to meet your specific needs and goals. You leave with a holistic healing plan designed to gently detoxify, nourish and strengthen your body, supporting your journey toward greater vitality and balance.

Length of therapy: 60 minutes
