Herbalism is a treatment which takes into account the whole person. Lola is a master medical herbalist. Formulae are individually designed and cleanse and nourish all of your body’s systems. Herbs give the body the key ingredients for healthy new cells, can be used to treat almost every condition, and work well alongside conventional treatments. You can therefore be treated whilst on prescribed drugs, as long as this is closely monitored and your doctor is informed - the decision to discontinue medication is always left up to the patient and their doctor. A trained herbalist will also be aware of any drug contra-indications.
Initial Consultation:
During your first Herbal Medicine consultation, a full inventory of your medical history, current symptoms, diet, sleep, other treatments past and present will be taken. These will also be monitored at all follow up visits. An iridology record is also kept at each session by photographing and analysing the iris.Herbal remedies are then dispensed which is tailored to each client’s individual needs.
After the initial consultation, a follow-up appointment is advised so that treatments will be altered according to how you and your body responds to your presbription. Herbs work well when taken over a 3-6 month period for chronic, long-term conditions, but for acute illnesses it may only take 1-2 weeks of treatment to see an improvement.
Lola is also a Reflexologist who offer general reflexology, reflexology for Maternity and Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD).
Lola's Qualifications:
- Licentiate in Herbal Medicine from The Irish School Of Herbal Medicine.
- Diploma in Vitalist Nutrition and Iridology, from The Irish School Of Herbal Medicine.
- Diploma in Reflexology with Anatomy and Physiology from the Irish School of Reflexology and Wellness.
