Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage and Reiki at The Dublin Wellbeing Centre

Sometimes the most important appointment we make is with ourselves. Have you considered booking a Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage?

There's a time and a place and it might be right here, right now. Seize the moment when the though appears, take action and maybe that action is to book a hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage.

As a kid I definitely remember the expression "there's a time and a place..." shaking out regularly.   It was an admonishment of sorts, to be filed along with the likes of "children should be seen and not heard" and “speak when you are spoken to ”.

Somehow, it had a shrinking back effect, of being expected to step back, shrink back, rather than expand, embrace things out there.

I recently heard it again, and it got me wondering.

About our own self-care.

It made me wonder about the time and space we give ourselves or perhaps don't give ourselves, to simply stop, breathe and be nourished.

The rushing/heavy-lifting to get this done / that done often steps in, sweeping us along to the next important thing on the list, without enough of a pause.

Sometimes, all the body is asking for is a chance to slow down.

When we're constantly thinking, planning and responding, the nervous system can remain in a heightened state long after the day's demands have passed. We become accustomed to carrying tension, breathing a little more shallowly, and being 'on' more than we're aware.

Whether through the flowing rhythm of Lomi Lomi massage or the quiet stillness of Reiki, creating intentional space to pause can gently encourage the body and mind to let go. It's not about escaping life, but about giving yourself the opportunity to return to yourself — to breathe more deeply, soften, and remember what ease feels like.

Sometimes that hour or two becomes much more than a treatment. It becomes the time and the place you've quietly been needing all along.

So, are you giving yourself the time and space that your body or soul may be calling you to do (for your own nourishment)?

Maybe not (enough).

Like the rest of us.

But, you know there are steps you can take?

Of course you do.

So, if something here resonates with you, perhaps this is your time and your place.
