I am a qualified Gestalt psychotherapist (Certified Associate of IAHIP). I bring both heart-centred support and appropriate challenge to the therapeutic relationship, supported by psycho education.
I bring to my work a range of experience in a variety of clinical settings (including third level student counselling and family resource centre counselling). I continue to attend training workshops where I am cultivating my particular interest in movement as a support for healing. Weekly clinical supervision and therapy support my unique way of working, which is collaboratively creative and trauma-informed.
In my previous career, I have supported companies, teams and executives to orient and navigate through change. In parallel, I’ve trained and worked as a yoga teacher and massage therapist, deepening my experience of and respect for holistic, whole body health and wholeness.
I enjoy time spent outdoors, dance and connecting with friends.
6 November 2025 - Testimonial for Linda McConn
As Linda’s previous supervisor, it has been an absolute privilege to witness the depth and care she brings to her work as a therapist. Linda embodies a truly relational way of being with clients of all ages and genders, creating a space where they feel supported to co-build a safe therapeutic environment. From this foundation, clients can explore their process, embrace difference, and embody the emergence of new possibilities.
Linda’s curiosity, creativity, and intuition allow her to meet each client with openness and respect for the uniqueness of their experience. Within her Gestalt approach, I have enjoyed Linda’s ability to attune to clients beyond words, inviting them to listen to their body process and the subtle resonances that often speak louder than language. Her work is authentic and heart-centred, grounded in trauma-informed practice while offering gentle yet appropriate challenges when needed. I feel that Linda is a safe pair of hands, able to stay present with clients in those stuck and uncertain places that require patience and courage.
Supervising Linda has shown me her unwavering commitment to the therapeutic relationship and to creating spaces where healing and growth can truly happen. I trust that she brings these gifts into every encounter. Julien Joly, Supervisor and Therapist
