About Calm & Restore - Nervous System Regulation

Calm and Restore - Nervous system Regulation is a wonderful way of restoring calm, relaxation and healing to your whole nervous system, body, mind and soul. Our nervous system is the basic foundation of all physical, emotional and psychological symptoms and the underlying root cause of many diseases and unwellness in our bodies.

Calm and Restore Nervous System regulation is a safe and loving therapy that allows the nervous system to gently unwind in a safe environment where you can release trauma, long term stress and emotional patterns that have been held in your body and nervous systems, using the tools and practices of Nervous system regulation.

Collette will coach you in nervous system regulation practices that work with toning the vagus nerve, and also guide you in cultivating more self love, self compassion and nurturing presence as you move through your healing journey. These are practices you can use everyday in your daily life when you are feeling anxious, in overwhelm, chronic aches and pains anywhere in the body as well as low energy, adrenal burnout, when you are unable to relax and/or sleep and for many other chronic health conditions. 
When you use the tools in your Nervous system regulation tool box your whole body, mind and nervous system are being rewired back to a state of calm and you begin to feel safe to be fully present and alive in your body again.

When you have truly integrated these nervous system regulation foundation practices into your daily life you then have enough safety to proceed to the do the deeper healing that is at the root of most of emotional, psychological and physical symptoms which are stuck as trapped energy in your body.

Childhood trauma, emotional and mental stress, physical trauma, stressful relationships birth trauma and disease are all symptoms of energy stuck in our nervous system and we become totally dysregulation. This can result in our emotions flaring easily, racing thoughts, anxiety, sleepless nights, digestive issues, panic attacks, adrenal fatigue, depression, hormonal imbalances, aches and pains, lack of direction,low energy, blood sugar issues, stressful relationships, inflammation, lowered immunity, and many other health and emotional issues.

Within Nervous system regulation deep emotional healing can occur, symptoms can subside and we grow in resilience to the challenges in our daily lives, letting go of the past and creating the foundation of true healing as the nervous system moves from an over active sympatric stressed out state to a relaxed calm parasympathetic state.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Content of a session

In a Nervous system regulation session, you will be welcomed into a warm softly lite room with relaxing music playing. My clients have said they feel really at home and can trust me and this is my priority so you feel safe to be just as you are. Whatever you are experiencing or wanting to address is welcome here and will be compassionately received and witnessed.

I will then guide and teach you the gentle yet powerful nervous system regulation practices and you will directly experience the soothing and calming effects they have on your whole body and nervous system. With some consistent sessions you will experience your capacity to restore your nervous system to a calm state under any circumstances, you will trust yourself more and feel more empowered to thrive in the face of inner or outer challenges.

This is the foundation and prepares your body and mind for the deeper trauma, emotional and physical healing.

Length of therapy: 60, 90 & 120 minutes.

The Dublin Wellbeing Centre is a relaxing haven located right in Dublin’s City Centre, near Trinity College.
