WHY DO TRADITIONAL THAI MASSAGE

About Traditional Thai Massage

Very ancient massage technique from Thailand, created by Shivago Kumar Baj, doctor and friend of Siddharta Gautama, Buddha. It is called Nuad Phaen Borarn, "ancient massage" and was influenced by the Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. It was practised and taught mainly in the temples, until it was spread and became famous. It considers the existence of energy lines, called sen, and acupressure points. Through stretching, pressure, twists, lengthenings, it balances body energy to generate a pervasive psycho-physical well-being.
