About Somatic Experiencing / Gestalt Theatre Therapy

Marie Sheridan's 4-week personal development group therapy course offers a holistic and transformative journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth. Through the integration of Somatic Experiencing and Gestalt Theatre, participants uncover profound insights, release limiting patterns, develop resilience and cultivate a deeper connection to themselves and others.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Content of a session

Explore Somatic Sensations: Through guided somatic exercises, participants will learn to connect with their body's wisdom, exploring sensations and emotions as they arise.

Engage in Gestalt Theatre Techniques: Utilizing role-playing, psychodrama, and expressive arts, participants will delve into their inner world, uncovering hidden patterns and gaining insights into their thoughts and behaviors.

Share and Reflect: Group discussions provide a space for participants to share their experiences, insights, and challenges, fostering a sense of community and support.

Practice Mindfulness and Self-Compassion: Mindfulness practices and self-compassion exercises will be incorporated to cultivate present-moment awareness and kindness towards oneself.

Set Personal Goals: Participants will have the opportunity to set personal goals for their journey, with support and guidance from Marie Sheridan.

What to bring: Comfortable clothing, water, notebook and pen.

Length of course: 2 hours a week for 4 weeks. Dates are provided on enquiry.
