About Reiki

Reiki is a gentle healing therapy. Clothes are kept on as you lie on a plinth, covered warmly, with relaxing background music. It is a very beautiful, deeply reassuring therapy to receive. The energy will leave you refreshed, revived and revitalised. 

Reiki is a gentle but powerful hands on healing art. It helps restore balance and harmony to your mind and body. It is used throughout the world by people of all races and belief systems. Reiki is something that can benefit people of all ages from children to adults including during pregnancy.

People have reported Reiki assisting with many conditions: Helping to boost the immune system, reducing stress, increasing energy levels, enhancing self-confidence, helping in the grieving process. It compliments conventional therapies and benefits both chronic and acute medical conditions. 

Geraldine who runs the centre is a Reiki Master which means that she also teaches all levels of Reiki and has practiced Reiki for many years. Paula Keegan and Lamhoise Loomes both gradated as Reiki Master with Geraldine and other therapist also provide this therapy at the centre.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Content of a session

An initial session involves a detailed intake of person and health details. You lie fully clothes on a plinth, with blankets to be as comfortable as possible. Relaxing music is played. You can relax as much as possible, some people are so relaxed they slip into a gentle slumber. The body can repair itself beautifully when the mind take a back seat. Feel so relaxed and grounded before leaving.

Length of therapy: Initial Session 90 minutes, follow up 60 minutes
