About Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional therapy is the practice of nutritional science to restore balance to the body and promote health. NT is patient rather than symptom centred meaning we treat the root cause of the disease rather than the symptoms. It’s also important to address the environment in which we live and how this impacts on us and our genes and how we can improve this.

Nutritional therapy can help with most issues people face as its primary focus is to bring about balance by correcting nutritional status. Common issues we see in clinic include digestive issues, infertility, problems with weight, menopause, skin problems, constant illness, sleeping issues, stress, anxiety and mood issues amongst many others.

    Content of a session

    This is a holistic personalized program looking at the person as an individual. An in depth one to one consultation is taken to try to get to the root cause of your health concerns, looking not just at the symptoms but also at the cause. The goal of the consultation is to put in place a plan that will help your body return to a state of balance. Together we will devise your individualized wellness goals. This will include food and lifestyle recommendations that take into account your preferences, goals and capabilities.

    Follow-up appointments are usually scheduled after four weeks, but each clients journey is individual and this will be agreed together, taking everything into account. I believe making these positive changes are the first steps to a healthier, happier version of you.
