Hi, my name is Kay. I am qualified as a holistic counsellor and psychotherapist. I have completed many other trainings including NLP/Gestalt experiential process work and nutrition coaching.
My approach is grounded in integrative, humanistic and holistic theory. I draw from several theories of practice to support each individual client in their process. These include psychodynamic, person centred, CBT, NLP, Gestalt and IFS.
I am a pre-accredited member of the IACP, working towards accreditation.
In the room you will find a safe, non-judgemental space where I will meet you with presence, empathy and compassion. I will work at your pace and support you in your move towards well-being.
I am fully committed to this work, both yours and my own (which is ongoing).
I believe that the more connected we are with our authentic selves through self-awareness and compassion, the more integrated we become and consequently the more we can contribute to health and well-being in the wider community. Awareness of our unhealthy coping mechanisms gives us choice and frees up our energy for more creative responses to life.
"The task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." Rumi
