Content of a session

A hypnotherapy session begins by welcoming you into a relaxed safe space to discuss your goals or concerns. For the session, you can choose to sit in a comfortable chair or rest on a plinth. With relaxing background music, the therapist guides you into hypnosis, a relaxed state of focus and relaxation. In this deep relaxed state, you can access your inner resources. This includes the therapist working with you to help identify and address unconscious beliefs or patterns in thoughts, perceptions, feelings, emotions or behaviours. The therapist may use positive affirmations, visualisations, or other techniques to help the individual develop new, more positive ways of thinking and behaving that will contribute to facilitating change. As the session comes to an end, you are left feeling grounded, refreshed and relaxed. The number of sessions required will depend on the individual’s needs.

Length of therapy: 60 & 90 minutes.
