Deimante is a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, with pre-accredited membership of IACP and holds a BA (Hons) degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling. She works with individuals and couples in English, German, Lithuanian & Russian in person and online. She practises Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, this is a style of Therapy which focuses on the holistic treatment of the overall human being, understanding the causative factors behind behaviours and utilising client centred understandings and development to achieve positive change. She then uses CBT model to tailor an action plan for fastest outcomes.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, Deimante’s background was in Banking. She also holds qualifications in Nutrition, Fitness, and Wellness, she brings this knowledge to bear during her therapy sessions. She is an advocate for keeping a healthy lifestyle and is fascinated with flora and fauna. Just like preserving animals living and plants growing in their natural environment, her goal is not to change you entirely but to work on updating your current self to become your best self.
Deimante specializes in being open minded and encourages her clients to talk about everything. Intimacy, Sexuality, Trauma, Addiction etc. Their relationship with themselves and the world (a lot can be learned from daily patterns and behaviours), deepest fears, things they wish they had never done and equally, dreams, goals, and ambitions. The Therapeutic space is your sanctuary to be yourself, whether you’re hurting, feeling lost and fragile or just are curious to learn more about yourself.
She advocates for mental and physical health and prioritises allowing your physical, psychological, spiritual, and sexual self to be heard and worked with in the therapeutic space to achieve best therapeutic outcomes.
She takes a pragmatic approach to changing behaviours that are no longer serving the individual, and replacing them with new, functional patterns that will lead you to living a simpler and more fulfilling life.
Before your first session, consider your therapeutic goals and think what the presenting issues are, this can also be done with her during the session. If you are looking for a short-term therapy and are aiming to reach your targeted goals fairly quickly as well as see initial changes soon, be ready to work for it! Old patterns cannot be undone within a single session. Persistency is the key. Confidentiality & Professionalism guaranteed.
